Is fibre broadband available in my area?
Use our Broadband availability checker to lookup broadband avalability by house number and postcode. Entering both your house number and post code helpes give you the best Fibre Broadband speed estimate because it helps identify which green cabinet your street is conected to. Postcode only searches are less acurate as a postcode search is too broard to give an accurate availability check. Our speed estimates are based on Openreaches data, and give the best possible Fibre broadband speed estimate we can give you.
How soon can I get Fibre Broadband
As soon as 14 days if your building is already ready for fibre. You can use our broadband checker to find out, if not then please contact us to discuss your options.
Once you order, we keep you posted through the order and let you know if an engineer visit is required. Often an eingineervisit is not required, and we provide helpful instructions to get you started. We're also available on the phone to help you get connected.
How fast is fibre broadband?
We offer two possible download speeds: A super fast 80Mbps download connection or a slightly slower 40Mbps download connection at a reduced price. This is more than fast enough for your avarage family household or small business. For example, the BBC recommends you have a little higher than 2.8 Mbps download speed for watching their BBC iPlayer, so 40Mbps or 80Mbps is more than fast enough!
Depending on where you live, you will either have fibre-to-the-cabinet ( FTTH), which means you have fibre going up to the green box at the end of the street, or, you have fibre to the premises (FTTP) which is fibre all the way from your telephone exchange to your house. We offer both, subnect to your location and availability. You can use our broadband checker to find out if fibre is available to your home.
